RDSTools is a suite of open-source tools created to help and speed up SQL Server on-premises migration to AWS RDS. It provides a two-phase approach — Discovery and Right Sizing — through command-line tools, web applications, and automated analysis to make your migration user-friendly, quick, and efficient.

The RDS Discovery Tool is a lightweight PowerShell application that provides capability to scan a fleet of on-premises SQL Servers and performs automated checks for 24+ features. It validates supportability of enabled features on RDS and generates a comprehensive report with recommendations.
